Aquarium

Our last day of winter break together was also January 1! Daddy decided to do something special for the kids (well, mostly L, who adores everything ocean related). We packed everyone in the car and visited the aquarium! With our Aquarium Passes (highly recommend if you have a large/young family or plan to visit more than once), we told the kids it would be a quick visit so we could have lunch.

They loved petting the starfish at the tide pool, checking out the seahorses, exploring the shark tunnel, seeing the penguins, walking across the rope bridge at the rainforest, and learning about poison dart frogs.

I guess they got rid of all the snack options at their Cafe, so instead of continuing our tradition of buying a few pretzels and enjoying them through the Tour of Utah, we drove home and ate at one of our favorite Mexican Restaurants in Springville.

We will be back soon before our passes expire because this month (January 2018) they have a new exhibit coming for Butterflies that we’re excited to see!
