Day with Lily
L had a Lagoon Day at school that required expensive tickets, and she decided not to buy them. The school basically gave her a day off, so we planned a day together doing errands instead!

Our day started with an early session of baptisms at the temple. I love going with her; feeling the spirit and seeing pretty flowers are some of our favorite things!
Roxy our dog hasn’t been feeling well enough to be left at home alone, so we brought her along for our adventures and made sure we gave her walks, water, and breaks.
We got our eyes checked and updated prescriptions— good news, not much changed in over a year! The only thing is we left temporarily blinded and sensitive to light.
L needed some summer clothes like shorts, warm weather dresses, and T-shirts so we went thrift shopping. She has grown so much and now fits in clothing from the women’s section!
I took her to lunch at Ginger’s cafe in Springville where she had a veggie chicken burger, and I had a falafel salad (no onions with this pregnancy) which hit the spot. Chill live music played in the background. She even got to try some of my salad because I insisted it was delicious.
We had just enough time to meet with my sister Adelynn at another thrift store in Orem. The clothing there was a lot more trendy and too cropped but we had fun hanging together before picking up the boys from school.
