My dear friend is due in February, and when I asked her about the baby shower I’m throwing for her she said she wanted pink, gold, and a hot chocolate bar! We threw the event in early December before all the holiday happenings when people would be out of town. My surprise and gift to her was a collection of bows and headbands made by our impressively creative guests at the Build a Bow station!
DIY’s to save on cost: I sewed a fabric banner from gold-ish and pink pillow cases I found at the thrift store and wide ribbon I had saved from wedding presents years ago. I figured that the colors were versatile enough that we could use it for events later, and fabric would certainly last longer than paper! I created all the printables including invitations, poster, favors, and labels.
Now, on to the party!
