Lily’s 9th Birthday

For her birthday, L visited her friends Maddie and Sariah the day prior for one on one in-person play dates. Most of it was outside in the garden with Maddie’s rabbits and amongst the basketball court, but she did get to see Maddie’s bird and doll house inside. She changed into her swimsuit to play with Sariah in the sprinklers. We stopped for a chocolate filled croissant and a drink with whipped cream from Guru’s.

After at-home church, the Birthday Girl opened presents from us! L got a wrist watch she can program with alarms; a 3-in-1 LEGO Creator mythical creatures set that makes a dragon, spider, or troll; and a special illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (book 4) as the next book in her collection.

We celebrated Lily’s birthday upstairs with the Dunns and had carnitas for dinner and angel food cake covered in whipped cream and strawberries for dessert.

Happy Birthday to our special young lady! L is so smart and loves to read. She likes to crochet, move around in a game of Just Dance especially with Audrey, and is a most loving thoughtful sister and daughter and friend.
