Halloween 2018

Stomp, Chomp, and Roar! Love, the Dinosaurs!

L’s pterodactyl costume was a hit with its bright colors and the scale patterned fabric. The yellow inside is kind of a softer material. I stuffed the horn to try to keep its structure on her headpiece.

I put Jer’s costume together last minute and just kind of threw everything together the night before using scraps and the random hoodie! I think he loved how interactive it was and how funny it turned out.

The triceratops headband took a surprisingly long time to keep it standing with how much weight was on the top with the stuffed horns and fanned points. I did a lot of glue gunning!

Our Halloween this year included L’s Halloween parade at school, F doing his best dinosaur roar riding on the school bus to preschool, Jer working his little T-Rex arms every chance he got, and W chilling as we trick or treated at his cousins’ new neighborhood. My youngest sister was in town to be our Dinosaur wrangler, and the kids loved having their Aunt be a part of the fun.
