Baby Blessing / Birthday

I’m not sure why this was the milestone that I felt like “we’ve made it”.

Henry received his baby blessing at home today on his sister’s birthday. She was so excited to share the day with him. Family on both sides were able to celebrate with us. Jeremy was joined by my father, Uncle Teancum, Uncle Nic, Uncle Aiden, and Bro Haines from the bishopric. Jeremy’s Mom and her husband, my parents, my sisters Adelyn and Lee Ann, and also Jeremy’s sister Alyssa and her family came. Everyone was able to meet Henry as a big boy trying to walk around!

Our little one is a miracle and a blessing to our family; even his middle name Theodore is a reminder that he is our “gift of God”. His baby blessing gave him so much guidance, encouragement, and love. I am full of gratitude and also so looking forward to what the years ahead have in store for this sweet boy.

Henry had his first time out at a restaurant yesterday. The Birthday Girl chose our local Mexican eatery to celebrate at. We were able to go as a family with the stroller.
