Happy 14th Birthday, Lily!
L has had some pretty epic birthdays in the past since she’s our firstborn and only daughter. This year’s celebrations are small and simple in comparison, but I hope that our children know how very cherished they are and how grateful we are to have them in our family.
Her special day started with blueberry & peach birthday crepes (specially made by her Daddy), a trip to the library, then lunch at one of her favorite local Mexican restaurants where she got to pick her own entree (carne asada), and finished off with a couple of friends over for games and dessert.

Jer asked her if she wanted something traditional or if she wanted to experiment, and she was up to try something new! We got ingredients that had no food dye (one of her friends is allergic), and he made a pineapple cherry cobbler in his dutch oven. It was still hot when we put the candles in, so they melted hilariously all into each other while we tried to sing to her!

I tried to do a more in-depth birthday interview with her this year.
