Happy Feeding Progress!

Will I jinx it by posting here? My Mama heart is elated at Baby Henry’s progress. He is 7mos old (4 adjusted) and 12.67lbs. After months of projectile vomiting and oral aversion, last week he saw another GI dr with a new feeding plan and meds. 

For the first time in WEEKS he’s finally keeping food down and partially drinking from a bottle!!! He’s getting his hunger cues back and showing interest in eating again. I’ve cried so many tears of joy and have finally been able to rest. Maybe my body just needed to feel like my baby was going to be okay first. 

We get to see more of his playful, bashful, resourceful, outspoken personality come out now.  LOVE THIS BOY!

We are not out of the woods, but I feel like we’ve been given a lifeline. 

I feel so emotional right now thinking about our friends and loved ones holding us through, reaching out and showering us with your kindness and solidarity… it has meant the world to me and I LOVE THEM, and am so thankful. God is surely here sending us true friends and angels.
