How We Celebrated Lily’s 5th Birthday
These five years have gone by in a blur. My once chubby little baby registered for Kindergarten today. At her assessment, they told her she is ready and got her all excited!
We left a bunch of wrapped presents as a birthday surprise for her to find when she woke up. She loves rainbows, so I found some sweet gift wrapping paper at TJ Maxx!

Daddy fixed her some special birthday crepes with blueberries before she opened her first present from Great-grandma, Great-grandpa, and Mommy. She loves her pink cat. Thank you, Great-grandma and Great-grandpa!
The Natural Curiosity Museum

The Birthday Girl wanted to visit a museum (I know, what a smartie)… So we headed to the nearest children’s museum for our first time at $2 Tuesday! It was AWESOME! She loved it so much she wants to come back ASAP. Baby boy had just as much fun! A few of our favorites were the touch-screen books at the library, the wind tunnel, build-your-own topography maps, the Rainforest district with a market and a play area, and the Pet Clinic!
Her new gift came in handy at her favorite exhibit: a Pet X-Ray area with a working scanner!

Daddy’s Gift
She opened her last presents: baby accessories Jeremy had her try on her teeny tiny baby… Then Jer said, “Hmm Lily, looks like you need a bigger baby!”

Games & Dessert
Daddy taught her how to play a game of cards, and she enlisted us until after dark to play with her new toys in everything from Doctor to Put the Babies to Bed.

The night ended with cake, lots of FaceTime with grandparents and family, and a game of Knock Knock where she annihilated Daddy and Mommy. We love you so much, Lilly Pie! Happy Birthday!
We will be celebrating with family and friends at her birthday party here!
