I Love Karaoke Mother-Daughter Date
We stayed up super late on a school night for our Mother-Daughter date in January: Karaoke!
She rocked it and we had the time of our lives singing really loud to a big mix of One Direction, Barbie Girl, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Weezer, and classics like “Yellow Submarine” and “Creep” lol!! Turns out this is a great way for her to let her super long hair down haha.
Not gonna lie, I feel freakin fantastic after belting out “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls, and “It’s Gonna Be Me” by *NSYNC. Nostalgia for the win!
We even met up with our BFFs and had late night pastries before heading home. Lils and I split a mango “cronut”, a cross between a croissant and a filled donut!
It was definitely a fun girls night where we got to hold hands in the freezing cold on the way back to the car, and I got to share in her first listen to the original of “Baby One More Time”, which she really enjoyed singing karaoke to.
This girl, LOL! I love her, she is hilarious especially when she comes out of her shell!
