Junk Drawer

Conquering chaos one drawer at a time. My only regret is I didn’t take a before pic!

I’m so proud of our reorganized Junk Drawer. Irrationally. I must be a sicko with how much peace and calm this brings me hahaha.

After Christmas I saved the nice boxes that my tech gifts came in, and decided to scratch the itch that the disarray of this drawer had created since I last cleared it a year ago. I noticed that we used this drawer for homework and tech stuff now instead of for making lunches. Not sure if there are Rules to this stuff, but for me it’s just Go With Where It’s Already Going, because I can’t fight the direction of an entire household alone. If they’re leaving objects in a certain spot, that’s a clear sign to me that’s where I need to contain it. Hence why homework scissors, tape, and chargers ended up here. The thermoses moved to the cabinet below. We got rid of the old calendars and papers.

It’s the little wins that will hopefully stack up. What small thing have you done for your sanity lately?
