Mountain Man Rendezvous

Hubby and our little girl headed out to Wyoming for this annual event celebrating the mountain men of the 1800s with trading for fur, camping out in teepees, and heading to town in period clothing. I’m pretty sure my history buff of a husband was filled with glee! They camped out with our friends, had grilled cheese sandwiches with garlic butter spread at the fire, and made crafts like a leather fringed purse for her to take home. Our daughter sure loved the festivities, like a dance she got to bust her moves out on, and being able to dress in pretty dresses and bonnets while playing with her friends who were dressed in similar fashion. Way to bring history to life!
