DIY Little Passports: Brazil
It’s almost time for Carnival, a fun festival filled with color and excitement! Our world explorer is ready to learn about the rainforest and more with her package for her latest destination in our series this year—Brazil! Check it out.
Our Explorer came home from school to find her package at the front door. She was such a sport to wait until Daddy came home so she could open it with all of us there. Daddy teased her saying, “What is this?? It’s like a present every month, the gift that never ends!” She laughed so hard at his jokes.

Additional Resources

I wanted to focus on the rainforest for this destination. It seemed like the most kid-friendly part since I actually cried a lot while researching Brazil. I know it sounds silly, but there were very cruel stories of slavery, colonialism, and religious overtones in the history, a depressingly wide economic gap separating the people and creating a system of corruption, poverty, drugs, and violence. So, the rainforest it was!!
