A Million Dreams Are Keeping Me Awake

This past weekend Jer enabled me to go on my first Girls Night Out in a long time where we watched the amazing movie-musical “The Greatest Showman”. Totally recommend if you want to be uplifted, if you like a feel good story, if you like music, or if you are a fan of any of the stars or writers. I cried through the first five minute song because it just struck some tender feelings I have for my husband, and I haven’t been able to get the songs out of my head for days. I bought my two favorite songs on the way home and played it for the kids while we did chores and made meals.

Jeremy heard it for the first time when he came home and was a little stubborn because he realized it was from a musical. But then he got into it with L wanting to dance with him, and now he is addicted. He confessed to me that he bought “that beautiful song” and has been blasting it in his classroom during prep, and listening to it on repeat all day hahahahaha. I think it’s convinced him to watch a musical with me.

Anyways it has inspired me to keep dreaming, and in the spirit of the new year I wanted to share. So here goes. I dream of walking hand in hand with my sweetheart in a warm place with a salty sea breeze. A couple of years from now will be our 10 year anniversary, and we’re thinking a trip (maybe to Hawaii) would be lovely.
