Easter 2020
The kids were so excited for the Easter festivities, including coloring eggs with Dad before bed, waking up to hunt for eggs around the house, and discovering surprises in their Easter baskets.

Our boys especially have been really getting interested in Pokémon, so we had themed baskets for the most part. L was so happy to receive the next illustrated Harry Potter book in her collection, which took up most of her basket. The boys kept excitedly showing their gifts to their Dad to help them open it and also just to express their glee!! They received stuffies of Charmander and Pikachu, little Lego type pokemon in pokeballs, a puzzle in a pokeball container that the kids had fun putting together, and of course Peeps. It was definitely a hit!

Now that church is put on hold until further notice with this pandemic, Jer received permission to bless and pass the Sacrament at home. We had church at home complete with getting dressed, saying prayers, singing about our Savior, and having a lesson that’s usually short while the kids color and listen.
I’m so grateful for my little family and feeling close to Christ even if we’re not able to physically meet for church right now. Our Savior is such a big part of our lives. We are still able to feel peace and have the spirit in our home, and that’s so special!
Happy Easter!!

Love, Kat
