Easter Talks + Pizza
Jer, our daughter L, and I gave talks in Sacrament meeting on “the meaning and blessings of Easter”. I really enjoyed listening to what they had to share with everyone. L even wrote her talk all by herself (with a little guidance from her Dad), and practiced it before giving it in church. I’m amazed at her courage and thoughtfulness; she really gives her all. The more I learn about Easter, the more I realize how consequential and significant it is.
Because He lives, there is hope. Because He lives, promises and relationships mean something. Because He completed His mission on Earth to atone for our sins, die, and raise Himself up again, everlasting joy and love is real and attainable for all. He provided the bridge for us back to our Heavenly Father. Christ triumphed over all, which means He helps us fight our battles, He heals the impossible and solution-less, and He is our advocate satisfying God’s justice with mercy.
Blessings of Easter

Best Homemade Pizzas Ever
Double birthday celebration for Grandpa Harold and Cousin Teagan. Uncle Thad introduced us to his latest kitchen gadget- an outdoor pizza oven that heats up to over 900 degrees and can cook a pizza in about a minute. He even made the pizza dough from scratch! All the toppings and flavors were so thought out with all the extra touches like draining the pineapple, getting premium Canadian bacon, cooking the bacon and sausage… We went assembly-line style with the prepared pizzas.
It was a wonderful 95th birthday celebration!
