Exploring A New Trail

Now that summer vacation is here we decided to try this new hiking trail Prospector View. The photos do not do justice for these gorgeous mountaintop views! It’s got switchbacks from the parking lot to the top of a hill. A morning hike was a great idea since we had lots of shade and it didn’t get too hot. We did carry lots of water just in case! Loved the wildflowers and the bright green areas, and the kids were thrilled to find many spider webs.

We definitely plan to come back, especially since it’s so close. I really enjoyed this kickoff to summer with our family hike!
