Scrapbooking Mother-Daughter Date

This was our date for November from our Year of Mother-Daughter Dates, but I’ve been sick for the last 4 weeks and finally felt well enough to be out of bed for hours with her.

First, L and I went through pictures of our dates from the past couple of years, then ordered 4×6 prints of 50 of our favorites.

Next, I bought a small scrapbook kit online with Kraft paper pages that came with pocket corners to frame the photos, making the pictures easier to affix to each page. The kit also included cute travel stickers that looked like vintage European stamps, and various flowers.

I asked L to gather colored gel pens, glue, stickers, washi tape, stamps, and anything else we might want to decorate the book with. She got super excited and ran around the house looking for all her stashes of crafting stuff, and we got to work!

Not all of the pics would fit where we wanted them, so L started calling us cutting them out “bubbling”. She planned where each of the stickers would go well. We filled every page!

Love, Kat
