Once Upon A Midsummer Night’s Dream Birthday

We were invited to a beautiful celebration in a castle for a fairy princess birthday party. Our friends did such an amazing job with making this a magical event with a sprinkle of Shakespeare. My friend Sepideh is such a talented artist and visionary. The kids got to dress up in costumes, get their energy out in the bounce house, and explore the lovely grounds. There was a scavenger hunt for all the pieces of a fairy garden they made at the end.

I brought L with me to help set up. Sepideh put so much thought and effort into every detail! I loved so many, including a beautiful map of the property for the scavenger hunt. Whimsical touches played with scale in giant flowers and a larger than life-size storybook they made with the theme on it—perfect for photos. She encouraged us to dress up for the fairytale theme, so we followed our hairstyles and Disney-bounded. L dressed as Princess Jasmine and I was a summer version of Snow White. I did a fall version for last Halloween’s winter costume, so it was fun to be able to have variety.
