Merry Christmas 2023

We embraced Feliz Navidad, and had street tacos for Christmas dinner. Most of the week has been enjoying time together playing the games or activities we can do now with our presents. F got really sick over Christmas break, so we got some movies and puzzles and settled into being home. Jer has been reading The Hobbit to us every day and we’ve been having a movie marathon of the Hobbit trilogy and the original cartoon version.
With his new fitness watch, Jer has been inspiring us to be more active. He and I have been walking “getting steps” with our dog, delivering holiday gifts around the neighborhood, and being outside while the weather is nice. It was really cute seeing W learn to ride on his Big bike!
We’ve wanted an air fryer for many years now, but hadn’t gotten to research buying one of our own—and are so grateful to receive one for Christmas! Jer has been cooking nonstop with it (breakfast potatoes, bacon, chicken wings, warming up leftovers, and more). I’ve loved that everything he makes is delicious and not super messy with oil splatters everywhere!
I’ve been loving family time and being off from work, doing a puzzle and reading to my heart’s content ❤️ It’s been so nice having Jeremy home to cuddle with and talk to and making so much good food. It’s going to be hard to get back from vacation, but I’m so glad to slow down.
