Improv Show
This week has felt like an improv show—lots of fun, and lots of rolling with the unexpected! Jer is on a new diet with requirements. The most fun and unexpected thing, though, was getting to see my husband’s interview from work at SHHS.
The news student staff at school have a segment where they “spotlight” teachers with a surprise reveal that the teachers get to react to unscripted. I think Jer did a great job, although now I’m wondering just how many girls he kissed on the way out hahaha! Working in education can keep you on your toes!

In case anything happens to the video someday, here’s the Transcript…
Now we’re going live with everyone’s favorite wrestling coach, Mr. Lloyd!
Hello, Mr. Lloyd. What’s up? What are your biggest accomplishments?
Marry the most beautiful wife a man can find, have three little kids (2 little boys), and I teach at Salem Hills High School.
When did you fall in love with your wife?
I fell in love with my wife. We met on the corner of the street. She called me out; I didn’t know who she was, but I dated her sister, and when she approached me I fell in love with her and ditched her sister. I did The Switch.
That’s great. What’s your favorite food?
My favorite food? Babyback ribs, small and tasty.
What’s your favorite Olympic wrestler?
Cael Sanderson, home-bred Utah.
Can you tell us about your Olympic experience?
My Olympic experience- never gone! In my dreams I have, I was there. I was amazing, I won all three. I wrestled a heavy weight, beat him, and I woke up and realized it was just a dream.
Graphics, can you pull up the picture?
HAHAHA! Where did you find this???! I thought I hid this thing! Good find, by the way, yeah! I was wearing blue, I don’t remember red, but I guess it was red, okay, all right.
How was that experience?
That moment was probably the best moment of my life right there. I try to hide it, my wrestlers don’t even know about that part of my life. Anyways, it was probably the greatest thing in the world. I wasn’t married at the time so I did kiss quite a few girls on the way out and all that kind of stuff. Fantastic.
That’s awesome. Well, it’s a really good experience for me to meet someone, an Olympian like you.
That’s right! That’s good! Yeah, I used my gold medal to help pay for college, so I thought it’s fantastic.
That’s awesome. Well, good talking to you.
Thank you very much. Thank you for having me on the show.
Thanks for coming on the show. It’s pretty great to have an Olympian on the show.
I thought it was hilarious! And here is an actual wrestling pic of Jer back on the varsity team in high school.
