Charlie’s Baptism

My favorite part of having a Primary calling was experiencing Baptisms. It’s still such a special feeling seeing children so excited to make promises with God, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost to guide them for the rest of their lives. It’s a day full of hope, meaning, and joy. We’re so thankful that we got to be a part of Charlie’s big day along with his family and friends. Many we haven’t seen in so long and missed so much, and had loving embraces throughout. I admired the beautiful chapel with its stone walls and a real pipe organ. Primary showed a video while we waited for Charlie and his Dad to get dressed again, and the spirit was just so strong hearing the music. Afterwards there was a brunch at Charlie’s house with all his favorite breakfast foods including pancakes, and his favorite movie Home Alone playing in the background. We hung out with our best friends and got to catch up and celebrate together. I love being with the Dunn’s!
