Year of Mother-Daughter Dates 2023
We’ve got quite the year lined up! L requested a year of experiences with me for a Christmas present again. When I plan these, I have a spreadsheet so I can keep track of how to book them, move things around to see which month fits best, and keep a total for costs so I know how much to budget every month. đŸ¤“
Here are the Mother-Daughter Date ideas for this year (click on each title to check it out in more detail):
- She loves singing, and so do I—let’s make it a night out!
- We both enjoy eating out, and I wanted her to feel special and pampered. I chose one of the best restaurants in town to split an entree and order dessert.
- Neither of us had been to the ballet, so this was a special experience we could have together. Most of the budget went towards this.
- I liked the adventure aspect, and being able to solve puzzles and games without having to do much planning because it was already created for me!
- L request.
- JUN – Themed BakingL loves to bake, and Harry Potter, so for a fun date at home I thought we’d dream up some pastries or treats.
- What better way to beat the heat and have a fun on a summer day?
- For our birthdays I wanted to splurge on something we could take home.
- Our hiking / outdoor date last year went so well, and L loves geology so I wanted to see if she would enjoy this.
- Fall Break might be the perfect time for movies, cuddling, games, and snacks.
- Feast & Festival at a Castle! Perfect for us Potterheads.
- It’s really busy during this month, so I looked for something casual and simple.
- We’ve never bowled together before, and have to fix that!
